Stalking information session

Since the January session was snowed out, S.A.F.E. is hosting an additional information session on stalking for the community. Betsy Ramsey will be sharing information on what stalking is and how to keep yourself safe. 

Betsy Ramsey has worked in the criminal justice field for years. She was a founder of a domestic violence program, worked at a Sheriff department and for a prosecutor's office. She trains law enforcement and other criminal justice professionals and has traveled across the United States and to Canada to share her knowledge. As a crisis response team member she worked the Olympic bomb in Atlanta, went to Washington, DC after 911 and numerous other incidents. The team meets with representatives from other countries on crisis management when preparing for an International event and/or possible terrorist attack. She is the author of Stop the Stalker - A Guide For Targets and Armor of Light - Survive a Crisis and Thrive. She co-authored a college textbook on working cold cases with Sheryl McCollum. Betsy is an expert for the Cold Case Investigative Research Institute (CCIRI). A Non-profit that works with college students on cold cases each year. She is the recipient of numerous awards and recognition.
