Miss Black and Gold High School Scholarship Pageant, the pageant, is a charity driven organization that promotes success through leadership, integrity, character, and confidence in today’s young women.

The Pageant Committee reserves the right to limit the number of contestants. The Pageant Committee reserves the right to disqualify any contestant at any time, for a sufficient reason, as determined by the majority vote. All questions concerning rules, guidelines, or any other pageant information should be directed to Dawn Holladay, Executive Director-The Beal Event Center office 828.415.1623
 
 
 
OFFICIAL RULES AND REGULATIONS- A CONTESTANT MUST BE:
 

1. Contestants must be a naturally born female.
2. Contestant must reside in North Carolina or hold property in North Carolina.
3. Contestants must be enrolled in High School, with a high attendance rate.  
4. Contestants must have good standing grades.
   Contestants may not have been married or have had a marriage annulled.
5. Contestants must never have been pregnant or have had a child.
6. Contestants must agree to abide by pageant rules and possibility of disqualification for infractions.
7. Contestants must conduct themselves in a professional manner and portray high standards at all times.
