Who says that you can’t learn to shoot safely and seriously while having fun at the same time? This unique two-day course is designed specifically for women who are beginning shooters and want to develop skills of personal self-defense and protection of others. And, have fun doing this!
The course will be led by Haim Geri, Senior Instructor from Israel's IMI Academy for Advanced Security & Anti-Terror Training. Haim has over 40 years experience in training security professionals in Israel.
This course provides students with an understanding of the philosophy behind security in Israel, which is important because it provides the “why” of what is being taught.
Students will learn basic krav maga, the Israeli method of self-defense using your hands, arms, elbows, knees, and feet.
The shooting portion of the seminar will stress basic handgun safety and handling. Students will learn correct grip and shooting position along with loading and chambering. Practice shooting will begin with “dry” practice, meaning no ammunition in the firearm, and advance to “live” practice with ammunition.
