Humane Society Mountain Shelters' 20th Annual "Puttin on the Dog"

The Humane Society's Mountain Shelter will host Puttin' on the Dog fundraising event August 15 from 6 pm to 9 pm at the North Georgia Technical College in Blairsville, GA.

Items and gift baskets will be auctioned off at the event. If you'd like to donate an item or gift certificate, contact Mary Lynn Miller, volunteer board member, at mmiller200@hotmail.com

 Companies who donate something are:

1. Recognized at the event with 250 attendance
2. Mentioned in each monthly newsletter between donation and the August event
3. Mentioned in 3 press releases which are published in the local newspapers
4. Recognized on the Humane Society’s website and Facebook page multiple times

This is a great way to advertise to people who love animals and support the shelter!

This is a private shelter serving our community for 33 years. It is very well run and is essentially a no-kill shelter but survives only through donations and fundraisers. Currently one of the buildings has a collapsed ceiling in dire need of repair. This fundraiser is crucial.

Tickets are $30 per person and include a full dinner, live band with beer and wine available for purchase. Dress any way you like. Casual is just fine.
