Halloween Costumes Encouraged!
Enjoy the calling of 2 different dance callers here to call for our annual Fall Square Dance Weekend. Janine Smith & Bob Dalsemer bring many years of calling experience and dance collecting between them. It's a great to treat to dance to all three of them in one night!
Evening Star is infamous in the contra and square dance community for being able to play anything the caller asks for in a way that makes dancers want to dance the night away! The band includes Folk School favorites Steve Hickman on fiddle, John Devine on guitar, Claudio Buchwald on fiddle/piano and Jim Holland on banjo.
Mick Kinney & the HickHoppers come from Atlanta, GA area. They make an especially fun dance band because of the wide range of tunes styles they can play. Expect rags, blues and old-time tunes that simply make you want to dance!
