Explore fire engines and firefighting equipment!
Crafts and activities for kids.
Story time with Smokey Bear @ 11:30 AM and 1:30 PM. There will be plenty of opportunities for pictures with Smokey!
We will also have a fun opportunity for kids to learn and earn a Junior Ranger badge by completing a series of activities. This takes around an hour to complete and costs $3 per child.
Every season, around 30,000 acres of the Chattahoochee - Oconee National Forest is prescribed to controlled burning, playing an important role in protecting our communities and promoting healthy natural ecosystems. Fire is an essential natural process that has been part of the Appalachian Mountains for thousands of years. Come on up, and GET YOUR SMOKEY ON!
