Civilian Conservation Corps History Day at Vogel State Park

There will be a presentation on the history of the Civilian Conservation Corps (National, State, and Local); a time of sharing stories by the CCC Boys, descendants and friends; and hand-on demonstrations of a variety of tools and museum tours through the afternoon. Light refreshments will be available. Sadly, the CCC boys are passing and we're losing an important part of our history each day. It was such an important program for survival for the Boys and their families during the great depression.
