Georgia's HIGHEST 5k. It is also the hardest 5k in Georgia while being the safest.
1700 ft gain in 3.1 miles on a point to point road course. This race has been happening now for nearly 20 years. The course record is held by Adam Pinkston who now lives in Asheville in a time of 24:40. This was set in the 1990s and he ran a 14 minute track 5k the weeks leading into this race. This record has stood for over 20 years... WILL IT EVER BE BROKEN?
